A totally off the normal more serious type of blog posting is about a discussion and little debate I had this morning with my friend Bennett.
This summer it looks like there are two bands reuniting for a summer tour.
The Police are supposedly in rehearsals right now for what will be a formal reunion for their 30th anniversary and be touring this summer for the first time since 1986.
At the same time Van Halen is formally announcing that original lead singer David Lee Roth will be rejoining Van Halen for a reunion summer tour. David Lee Roth has not toured with Van Halen in more than 20 years.
So the debate and very important question is, which is the more exciting and epic reunion happening?
The Police or Van Halen?
That was the great debate Bennett and I passionately and heatedly argued about for about 2 minutes this morning. I believe my argument for the band I believe is more epic and important was a much more persuasive argument than Bennett's and had better reasoning of why I am right and Bennett is wrong. But we shall remain friends, never-the-less as it wasn't a core essential doctrine.
