I am heading off in the morning for two weeks of vacation and no blog entries or emailing happening during that time. Trying to seriously get some needed rest and break during this family time away. So no new entries here until after March 14, which sometimes I don't post anything for over 2 weeks anyway. But no computer correspondence, emails, blogs or blog readings while I am gone.
I come back and the next day I will be speaking at a "They Like Jesus But not the Church" seminar in Portland at George Fox Seminary.
I also haven't seen the actual magazine in hand yet, but the new issue of Outreach Magazine has the theme of "Inside the Mind of the Unchurched" and the cover and feature article is about part of the "They Like Jesus but not the Church" book.
I look somewhat like a ghostly Michael Jackson figure with a Minnesota tan on the cover. Outreach is a wonderful, wonderful group of folks who I tremendously love hanging out with and it is an honor they chose to feature the story they did. I hope it causes people to question whether they are in the Christian bubble or not, or ask ourselves if we are prisoners of the church office (if you work at a church). To see the article and ghostly Michael Jackson Minnesota tan picture they took, you can see it here.
Farewell, for a few weeks.
